A Day to Reconnect: Our 2026 Company Outing!

Under a bright blue sky and an even brighter mood, 60 people from Kitaru Lumberyard, Kaltimber, Naturanexa, and I-Rewood gathered at Krisna Adventure for a long-awaited company outing.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was clear: this was a day dedicated to one thing—having fun, together.

One Group, Many Locations, One Community

With our teams spread across three different factories, daily interactions between all companies aren’t always possible. That distance can sometimes feel frustrating, especially as our group continues to grow.

That’s why, at least three times a year, we make it a priority to bring everyone together—whether through outings like this one, or during key moments such as Christmas celebrations. These gatherings are essential, not only for strengthening our sense of community, but also for welcoming new team members and helping them connect on a personal level. Growth brings new faces, and moments like these turn colleagues into familiar faces and friends.

Games, Laughter, and a Lot of Team Spirit

The day kicked off with a series of team games that quickly dissolved any remaining barriers between departments and companies. Laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of encouragement filled the space, reminding us how powerful shared experiences can be.

After working up an appetite, everyone regrouped for a well-deserved lunch, giving teams time to slow down, talk, and simply enjoy being together outside of a work setting.

Slides, Glass, and a Bit of Courage

The adventure didn’t stop there. In the afternoon, we moved to another area where a dry slide stole the show—becoming an instant favourite for absolutely everyone.

For the more adventurous among us, the highlight was undoubtedly the glass bridge. True to its name, the bridge’s transparent floor offers a very clear view of the valley and river below—perhaps a little too clear for some. Crossing it required a bit of courage, but the sense of achievement (and a few nervous laughs) made it unforgettable.

Sustainability Is Also About People

At Kaltimber and all our sister companies, sustainability is at the heart of what we do, guided by our focus on reclaimed wood. But we also believe strongly in the Triple Bottom Line, where sustainability isn’t only about the environment or economics—it’s also about People.

Beyond ensuring safe working environments, fair wages, and inclusive workplaces, the People pillar also means remembering that life isn’t just about work. It’s about balance, connection, and shared joy. Days like this outing are a reminder that taking time to have fun together is not a luxury—it’s a necessity.

Looking Ahead

As we continue to grow, moments like this help keep us grounded in what matters most: community, collaboration, and human connection. We returned to work tired, sun-kissed, and smiling—already looking forward to the next time we all get to gather again.

Because building things together starts with being together.
