6 easy DIY Christmas wood decorations

Christmas is coming! And before you know it, your house and streets will be full of beautiful decorations! While your collection might already be extensive,  do you already have wood ones? Now you will! 

There are literally a thousand ideas for you to craft DIY festive decor, but many of them are very similar, and some just require too much work, or too many tools. And what would be the fun in that? You probably want to make them with your kids too so the projects need to be accessible.

“THE” Christmas tree

When we talk “Christmas”, it is hard not to associate this period with “Christmas tree” right? 

With this very simple project, you will be able to decorate your front yard with the most iconic element of all! You can use pallets, or random pieces of wood as long as the tree shape is recognizable. And why not go all the way and paint it green? Add a couple of sparklings tinsels?

Wooden Snowmen

Regardless of whether you live in a snowy area or not, these very cute snowmen will elevate your decor with joy. Don’t they look so easy to make?

Ask kids to paint them the way they want, wrap their heads with waterproof wrapping paper, and there you go! 

You can also put some inside on a hook and replace your usual frames for the holiday period!
