Kaltimber isn’t just a decking and flooring factory. It’s a full experience of what reclaimed wood is about, from its origins to finished products display, including the process our wonderful ironwood goes through.
Our office is located in Gianyar, which isn’t that far from both Denpasar and Ubud. We are always happy to welcome visitors so that they can fully understand what they are purchasing.
Travel in time
It’s the dream of many Sci-Fi fans, but we make it possible! When you walk into Kaltimber’s yard, you can witness pieces of history at almost every corner. It’s easy to think that we know what “reclaimed wood” is, but to see the raw beams in their “kind-of” original state (it was a tree before after all) is a very different experience. When you see the rusty nails, bolts and other distorted pieces of metal, you can imagine in an instant the intense life the wood we source has witnessed before.

We took advantage of the pandemic to refurbish our showroom entirely. From a new custom-made desk to a centred-piece wood and polished concrete meeting area, we made sure to be in the best position to welcome you and discuss your project.
And yes, it’s so nice that local celebrities like actor Rezky Adhitya visited (and bought flooring) us!
Feel the products
We have a very good online product display, but nothing will ever replace seeing our products in real life. We have both a very clear and stunning wall display, but also large samples of our decking and flooring for you to have a first-hand impression of what your future order will look like. Meet our staff
We pride ourselves for having extremely competent staff at every position, be it at the factory itself, or in the office. Many of them have been working for Kaltimber for many many years, so no need to say that their level of experience and expertise is frankly impressive. They didn’t stay for that long just “because” of course. We take great care of everyone, with good salaries and various bonuses. But most importantly for you, they know what they are talking about and it reflects in everything coming out of our factory.
Be surprised by the cleanliness of the factory
Too many think that a woodworking factory is a messy and dangerous place…..and they are right. Indonesian work and safety standards are unfortunately not the best, consequence of a complete absence of regulation control.
Our staff is weekly trained for safety, and a clean factory is the first thing to do for a safe working environment. Tools and equipment, but of course pieces of wood we could trip on, AND sawdust we could slip on are big “no no’s”. Consequently, during the course of the day we keep everything at the right place. And nobody leaves the factory before a cleanup is done.
Learn about our process
Many receive decking and flooring but do not know every step that has been done beforehand. Aside from the wood history, this is also a great tale to tell every guest about. From how every nail is carefully removed from all boards, to the sanding and machinery process the wood has been through, you will learn a lot!
Discover our state-of-the-art machinery
We could do with what we had for years, but we never stop investing in better machinery to process orders faster, safer, and with a better quality. Thus, it is almost every year that we acquire a new piece of machinery. This is also how we keep our production staff happy to work at Kaltimber. New toys!
