1°) Make it cosy!

In 2022, the garden and terrace will be tailored to offer spaces with a safe haven where it feels good to rest. We all loved to spend more time outdoors during the pandemic, and this trend is going to grow. This need for cocoon space even in the exteriors is materialised by the presence of various details such as round rugs, thick cushions and cosy plaids

As your interior is designed to make you feel safe and comfortable at home, ths goal turns out to be the same again this year for outdoor:: to build a soft refuge with extra soul to this space in which we have long been reluctant to invest.

2°) Indoor goes outdoor

This year again, indoor furniture is moving outdoors. The traditional garden sofa and its coffee table are no longer enough to set up a decor worthy of the name on the terrace side. Carpets, floor lamps, vases and other highly decorative accessories are added to the garden seating area to become essentials capable of infusing a specific soul and style into the place.

3°) Veggie patch

If people are struck by a crisis of conscience which pushes them to consume better for their interior, they are more and more curious to apply their new way of life outside. Dedicated books and clever accessories are multiplying on the market to allow us to best tame a slew of fashionable terms such as the square vegetable garden, compost, permaculture, rainwater collector... Small or large garden, balcony included, options are numerous!

4°) Just say “pots”

On the terrace or the balcony, in the heart of the garden or along a staircase, the pots put on a show! Preferably in reclaimed wood, containers, whether small or large, become essential for creating a trendy exterior largely inspired by courtyards and other Provençal patios.

Just put palm trees, succulents, and cacti are essential in these irresistible containers to brighten up a terrace or a balcony in the same way as traditional garden furniture and other outdoor furniture.

5°) Make way for colour!

Like the spaces of the house, garden and terrace succumb to the many qualities of a colorful palette to brighten up outdoor living. Two shades are particularly benefiting from this trend: green and orange, accompanied by a host of variations. Already stars of interiors, these two shades echo the decorative obsessions of the moment, namely the green attitude and the return to grace of the seventies.

7°) Small decoration to sublimate the walls

The terrace is played like at home by welcoming on its walls a string of decorative accessories that may or may not match the garden furniture.
